Today we again drove south from Salta, but this time to Cachi via the dramatic RP33 that winds its way through the Parque National Los Cordones. It was another exceptionally scenic drive & it provided good practise for Alvaro who's still getting used to the whole driving thing :)
Recharged by an awesome "sandwich" in Cachi, we strolled up the nearby hill to look around the picturesque old cemetery before continuing further south to Cafayate through the mind-boggling Valles Calchaquíes.
We avoided the long haul back to Salta by spending the night at a mildly dodgy hostel in Cafayate...
