In desperate need of something different after finishing up with the Image Quality work on the Southern African Large Telescope (SALT), I leapt at the opportunity to join Retha, a friend & former colleague, on a trip to Argentina! By far my most spontaneous international travel to date - the idea sprang up less than 3 weeks ago, tickets were booked within 4 days & tomorrow, bright & Very early, I fly to Joburg & then on to Buenos Aires... No doubt I'll take Way too many photos, but I'll do my best to whittle them down to something manageable when I get back so watch this space!
